Rooted & Restored is a six-month nutrition coaching container that helps you get real answers about your health, develop a real plan that evolves with you, and experience the real results you’ve been waiting for.
We take “keeping it real” seriously around here.
But all the supplements, nutrition changes, and other tactics are starting to feel like just one more thing to remember — because they’re costing you money and time without actually helping.
By starting with functional lab testing, we get real information about what your body needs — allowing us to skip the guesswork and get right to helping you feel better, faster.
Root-cause nutritional therapy helps you support your strength in the here-and-now *and* in the future you’re building for your family.
It’s about restoring the foundation your body needs to stay strong, resilient, and energized for the long haul — so you’re not just surviving your kids’ childhood, you’re staying present now and later, in all the stages to come.
Restore your energy, sex drive, and ability to self-regulate — so you can play with your kids, stop feeling so overstimulated, and easily switch out of “Mom Mode” after the bedtime requests for more water and another random object to sleep with are over
Stop convincing yourself that every random-ass Reel of a new nutrition idea, food to cut out, or workout to try will be the thing that “fixes” you — because you have actual data as to what your body needs
Finally understand why your period, mood, and digestion seem to have a mind of their own, and get a plan that addresses all three instead of treating them like separate, unrelated problems
Stop white-knuckling through the 2pm wall with another cup of coffee and a handful of whatever snack your kid left on the counter, because your energy is actually stable now
Feel confident about what you're eating without obsessing over it, cutting out entire food groups, or spending your mental energy on something that's supposed to nourish you
Here's how...
Six months of root-cause nutrition coaching services for the mom who’s done pushing through, getting dismissed at the doctor, and feeling worse about herself with each attempt to feel better — and is ready to finally make a lasting change.

Whether you’re freshly postpartum or years past it, you can’t get to the root of your symptoms without the right information.
Blood tests capture a moment in time, not the full picture. They’re also designed to diagnose disease, not detect dysfunction — which is why so many women are written off when their labs are “fine,” even when they don’t feel fine.
Functional nutrition labs (like HTMA) go deeper, saving you money on supplements you don’t need and helping us replace guesswork with hope and a concrete plan.

How S Stopped Relying On Coffee To Survive The Day

"I cannot overstate how much I would recommend working with Kim."
Working with Kim is truly the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. So many aspects of my wellbeing have improved. My sugar and gluten cravings have literally disappeared. My libido has returned to normal (and then some), and my indigestion and reflux has decreased in frequency so much."
— Shannon T.
"If you are thinking of working with Kim - do it!"
"For so long I have pushed myself to the brink and neglected the signs my body was giving me that I was overworking myself. Working on creating calm in my life has brought me back from feeling exhausted, depleted, and like a shell of a person. Kim knows what to prioritize to push the needle the most on your health."
— Jess K.
"I've been working with Kim since 2021 and she has supported me through so many seasons- preconception, 2 pregnancies and now 2 postpartum periods, and all the in-between."
"This last postpartum season has been my favorite one yet because of how much I know about my body now and how to support it through such a stressful time. It was truly night and day for me from my first postpartum season and I know all the knowledge I learned from Kim over the years was invaluable and helped me have a fairly smooth, nourished and restful postpartum with my second daughter."
— Katie S.
"I would still feel like crap all the time if it wasn't for Kim's knowledge and recommendations."
"Addressing my nutrition and my body on a holistic level has changed so much for me. But I think the most important change has been how I have been able to manage my stress, frustration and overwhelm. Not only do I feel that way so much less, but when I do I can often recognize what I'm feeling, realize I have control over the situation and identify a way to address it."
No more guessing, panic-Googling, or taking random supplements in the hopes they’ll help.
We start with functional testing that tells us what's actually going on in your body — so every recommendation has a reason behind it and nothing is a shot in the dark.
Instead of a complicated meal plan that requires three hours of Sunday prep, or a wellness routine that only works if your kids cooperate and use their listening ears for once. Everything we build together is designed to fit the life you're actually living, not some idealized version of it.
Unlimited chat access and regular check-ins mean you're never left to figure it out alone between sessions. If something's not working, we adjust as your body changes, things come up, and life does its thing.
You don't have to choose between functional and conventional, holistic and realistic, taking care of yourself and showing up for your kids. It all coexists here — and we make it work without making it weird.
Absolutely — apply for Rooted & Restored here, then I’ll be in touch with next steps and a link to book a free call.
You’ll love the Deep Dig, a one-time mineral level testing option that includes a custom one-month protocol you can implement on your own time.
Not at all — I work with moms in all seasons of motherhood. While pregnancy and breastfeeding are often the catalyst for a lot of what brings women to Root & Branch, you don't need to be newly postpartum to work together. If you're a mom who hasn't felt like herself in a while — whether that's one year out or five — this is for you.
Yup, absolutely. And honestly, I recommend that you do! Whether you want to optimize your health before pregnancy or troubleshoot more complex fertility struggles, this work can help! Focusing on root-cause healing — including regulating cycles, increasing libido, improving thyroid function, rebuilding nutrient stores, and addressing any deeper stressors that impact hormone balance — can help create the most supportive environment for conception and set the stage for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum, too.
Note: I'm not a doctor, nor am I pretending to be one! But while a functional medicine doctor might run similar tests, you're largely left to figure things out on your own between appointments — and from my experience, very little nutrition guidance is given beyond a cookie-cutter elimination diet, and changes are dumped on you all at once (which isn’t sustainable).
Rooted & Restored includes monthly sessions, weekly check-ins, and unlimited chat access — giving you the perfect balance of face-to-face support with quick answers to questions you type with one hand while catching your cannonball toddler launching off the couch with the other.
It depends on where you're starting from, but most women notice meaningful shifts within the first 4-6 weeks — not because there's a magic fix, but because for the first time, the things they're doing actually match what their body needs. Six months gives us enough time to create real, lasting change instead of a temporary boost that fades when life gets hard again, and to prioritize your healing (because no, you shouldn’t do a parasite cleanse before we make sure you’re pooping every day).
I am not able to accept insurance, since I do not provide medical diagnoses or treatment. If you have a FSA or HSA account, you can inquire with your card provider to see if funds can be used towards my services, programs, and/or supplements.
